its been ages since i went gym.. ah shucks.. godwin ur amps getting dust on it.. and i realised why.. not cos i'm not playing.. its cos my room is DUSTY.. the guitar area is like.. dustfest.. so best i could do is wipe it.. but can't get underneath the knobs.. sorry.. another thing lying around is the horsepower.. onli had a handful of servings before gym was out of my weekly schedule.. this sucks.. nowonder people working full-time get fat and die from fat-related health problems.. no time for exercise, minimal free time.. and in my case.. shit pay.. argh..

however.. today went SHOPPING.. yes shopping.. shop for lab stuffs.. the RA's went crazy over buying.. cos apparently the NUS grant given can't be extended.. so might as well spend all the money.. my gosh.. they spend about 5 thousand dollars.. buy lab coats, pipettes, reagents, parafilms, tube holders and MANY MANY MORE.. and buy in bulk sia.. really bulk.. like 3 cartons of 50ml pipette tips (example).. the lady at the counter tio stunned.. she asked if we starting new lab.. loool.. we had 4 trolleys full of stuff.. me and sk were the transporters.. carry them back to the lab.. i bought myself 2 more labcoats.. haha.. oppotunist..
had lunch over at NUS megabites.. its cheaper than SIM one.. cos SIM is a selfish bitch who doesn't want NP students eating their food.. lunch was quite long.. slack around lor..
we decided to do different project so we can start soon le.. now deciding which gene to play with in breast cancer.. gahhh.. hope we choose a good one.. get good results.. easy cell line to deal with.. ahh.. hope so.. 1st interim report deadline coming.. better get my workplan done..
oh by the way.. NUS has an AWESOME anatomy museum.. its all all kinds of dead bodies in there.. babies joined at the hip.. birth defect babies.. half a skull.. all so preserved and scary.. the eyebrows are still there la.. the eye balls staring into nothing.. den can see the cross-section of the neck/mouth/nose/brain.. damn scary.. can't take any pictures tho.. not allowed to.. Zzz

having said that its a damn tiring day.. came home and slept for 2 hours plus.. shiok ah.. and i'm aching all over from the badminton match on sunday.. my ass hurts.. sitting on the toiletbowl is torture.. need cushioned toiletbowls.. lol..
smth came to my mind.. i always wanted to try sleeping on a waterbed.. but scared i won't like it.. but its soooo cool la.. being gently rocked to sleep.. needs to be the right type of rocking.. or else can die sia.. haha.. ok enuff fantasizing..

went to bbq for our NUS department of anatomy.. had free food and ta pao some sausages home also.. lol.. yvonne took smth from my wallet.. but i don't know what she took.. she's not giving it back until i figure out what it is.. zzz.. nothing seems to be missing lehz.. .. ... oh i cut my finger today.. was cutting some scotchtape with the penknife den, dunno how i cut, sliced it into my finger.. mega deep cut..but i kept the wound closed.. and plastered it.. so now its just sore.. hope no infection.. .. i can just imagine all the macrophages getting to work under my skin.. speaking of which i got back my results today.. realli sucked shit.. fking sux and lousy... hope year 3 can pull my grades back up.. .. wan kill myself le.. zzzzzzzz

no idea what the title means.. but its an awesome vid.. lead vocals have sky high range.. the song is stuck to my head..
today we discovered that ALL OUR CELL HAVE BEEN CONTAMINATED.. ahahaha.. real frightening if it was our real project.. anyway today had quite some stuff to do.. somehow time passed much quicker than usual.. yin ping asked us to help her with some pcr.. we casted the gel and ran her colony pcr.. she came downstairs squealing cos it produced such pretty and distinct bands.. she was so happy she treated us to some drinks.. lol..
celebrated mum's birthday at warren golf club.. sang karaoke.. my 1st time karaok-ing properly.. usually it isn't my kinda thing.. cos pai seh.. but with family.. ah just let hair down onli la.. had a fun night..

today is my dear mum's birthday.. haha.. finally able to present her a decent present.. after 18+ years of my life.. together with my bro we made a picture montage of her and family.. yay!
ok its been ages since i last blogged.. cos NOTHING INTERESTING TO BLOG ABOUT.. but i summarize the past few weeks of uneventful events anyway..
attachment at NUS department of anatomy its pretty awesome.. people there are really cool.. altho they're way older than me.. (i'm the onli teenager there).. cos all doing their uni or post grad or PHD or whatever.. they are a bunch of funny nuts.. keep bugging sk about his speculated homosexualness.. HAHA.. yes they suspected sookeng of being GAY.. sk should grow another ball and add more testosterone to his physique..
workload is close to non-existent.. so far we haven't started on our project AT ALL.. still waiting for the previous group to get their DNA microarray tests results.. that'll probably be out when i grow a beard.. in the meantime i'm just slacking in the lab using the computers there.. watching heroes and house.. i watched 1 and a half seasons of heroes and 3 and a half seasons of house in 2+ weeks.. imagine how many hours that is.. ... .. but i also got read some journals and did some cell work.. other then that its just shadowing others around familiarizing ourselves with the experiment protocols.. quite similar to practs in ngeeann.. only there's no weng keong and no gordon lim to provide lab manuals.. we have to write up our own.. or photocopy from others.. still managable la.. sookeng is spamming journals and research.. i've probably read a fraction of the number of journals he read.. cos i'm busy streaming vids.. haha.. ok la.. not a laughing matter.. i shall put in some effort to read more..
we celebrated amanada's birthday last sunday.. went to her hse to surprise her and its kinda worked.. onli 4 people there.. lol.. had some pretty good mee sua at her hse cooked by her mum.. pics are on either xw's blog or sherryn's..
well that's basically the main part of my life these few weeks.. too lazy to gym.. "work" hours end at 6pm so by the time i'm home i'm too tired to do anything much.. mentally tired..
hopefully smth interesting will pop up next few days or weeks.. or months..
