Microscopy Society of Singapore AGM today.. went to ORCHARD PARADE HOTEL for conference whole day.. haha.. pretty cool.. got a free 2gb thumbdrive as door gift as well.. lol.. pretty much spent my whole day at town.. went for dinner at some shitty jap restaurant which sold unfresh sashima and stone hard abalone.. zz.. complain and what did we get? vouchers for about $8.. cb i don't even wanna go back there, den give vouchers.. can use to wipe my ass la.. went to kbox.. blah.. haha.. sing my lungs out.. very fun.. and now i'm so bushed.. lucky got yvonne send us all home.. thx! sooo tired....

ok yesterday while on the bus there was this ah ma who caught my attention.. i couldn't help but take a pic of it.. gosh.. some people just really buay pai seh one.. and the bus was actually crowded at that point in time..

ok anyway.. last night sookeng asked me on msn if wanted to go gym the next day.. in my mind i was like: who're u and what have u done with sk!?.. lol.. turns out he wanted to exercise instead of going some crappy hockey training with freshies.. its been ages since i went and did a proper workout in the gym.. did a pretty good variety of workouts.. tonight sure sleep very well.. haha..

oh boy.. today passed by in a flash.. did western blot all day.. tmr continuing.. its sorta like a 2 day protocol.. think i won't have to bring my laptop tmr.. bring also won't use.. busy busy all day.. apparently our cells got contaminated by some mysterious black fragments.. like a lot of them.. it ain't bacteria tho.. but the cells don't seem to healthy either.. (yeah they told soo keng they weren't feeling well.. lol..).. ... ... lucky i'm not doing cell work.. but my work isn't a walk in the park either.. 1 stupid western blot so many things to do.. still haf RNA extraction.. cDNA synthesis.. protein extraction.. PCR.. real time PCR.. and other's which can't think of right not.. blahz..

lunch was an all guy event cos the girls all disappeared for 1 reason or another.. den onli 3 of us eating.. lol.. plus hankee who didn't eat so not counted.. so pathetic.. haha..

weather these past few days are really nuts.. blazing hot.. sat morning i stepped out in the sun and i felt like i was getting crushed by this strange bright yellow light from above.. the walk from the bus stop to the lab can make my collar all sweaty.. i had this idea to sign out the 4 degrees cold room key and chill there for a few minutes.. and then there's the -20 degrees cold room.. which would finish the chilling job in half the time.. but my throat hurts from breathing in ice air.. lol.. but i scared they scold me for chilling in there.. a lot of samples in there and if anything goes wrong with them could cost them their "life"..

went to kfc with james yesterday.. suppose to be me him and his mom eating.. so we decided on family feast 8 pcs chicken, split 3/3/2.. den his mom decided to eat zinger.. so that means cannot eat family feast le rite.. WRONG.. james was like, ok den we share the family feast.. 4/4.. .. holy shit?.. no way i can finish 4 chickens + popcorn chicken + whipped potato + coldslaw(anyhow spell) + 2 regular sized drinks.. i said i can't finish that much.. so he said ok fine i take 5 chicken u take 3.. .. ... guess what.. he finished his 5 pcs b4 i finished my 3.. wtf.. .. ..

i'm movie marathoning like.. 3 movies a day.. haha.. keep downloading and watching them and storing them in my massive dinosaur sized machine behind my lappy.. i've got so many movies.. i dunno which one to start watching 1st.. Zzz..

lazy lazy day.. just sitting at home watching transporter 3.. mummy - dragon emperor.. valkyrie.. went for lunch at kfc with mum and dad.. halfway thru our meal some dude who looked like a total noob sat beside us (probably cos no seats around).. anyway.. once he sat down my mum made a disgusted face.. "ZOMG WHATS THAT SMELL".. and usually i'd tell her not to be so outspoken.. but hell.. he was DAMN SMELLY LA.. smell like a damn animal.. in detail, like a sweaty horse after a race.. she really cannot tahan his smell, lucky she finished her meal.. so she said she leave 1st go kopi tiam drink coffee.. lol..lololol.. den i noticed the guy.. eat like got no tomorrow.. stuffing down 2 piece chicken meal + zinger burger.. when he chewing the burger he made a rolling-eye face.. like he's deriving some demonic pleasure from kentucky oil.. i could see the crispy chicken crumbs stuck on his cheek.. and did i mention he was FKING SMELLY.. .. .. ok let be optimistic here.. maybe he was stranded in a farm/sewer/public toilet for 100000 days den finally he got out and went straight for the most unhealthy foods anybody can find on the island singapore..

went to sim lim to get some computer accessories.. i got this cool usb hub.. makes my 1 usb socket into 7 sockets.. lol.. now can plug everything in.. was having a lack of usb sockets recently.. and i got a new mouse.. which turns out to be bloody colourful.. the scroll thing keeps changing blue red.. ok all the colours in the rainbow.. and can flicker the lights.. can gradually change the colour.. can burst out in many colours like.. 4cps (colours per second).. haha.. but its cool.. my laptop is so loaded now.. behind it the wires like jungle.. haaaaaaaa.. feels good to have 500GB at my disposal..

oh yeah.. today i bought a MAXTOR 500GB external hard drive for $99.. incredible eh.. but its big and bulky.. it needs to be powered by plugging into electrical socket.. so its not for portability.. just for DUMPING STUFF.. my hard drive space issue is SOLVED.. i never have to delete anything anymore.. whaahahahhaa.. time to download all the movies i wanted to watch.. OH YEAHHH

oh my gosh.. i was asked to set password for my router today.. i spent like 3 hours trying to make the damn thing work.. so stupid la.. lol.. troublesome.. and my collegues said i looked tired.. den sk said i looked tired everyday.. wah.. means i must look damn cui.. sian.. maybe its eyebags.. or there's dark rings.. or maybe the pimples.. but there's barely any!..
